JUSTIN CARLISLE

PROGRAM FACILITATOR & ROSTERING COORDINATOR

Justin (Cohort 074) is a United States Marine Corps veteran, having served with the 3rd Battalion 8th Marine Infantry Regiment in deployments to Fallujah and Ramadi, Iraq. After his honorable discharge, Justin continued his service to others as a firefighter and paramedic for the city of Coshocton, Ohio.

Holding a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Naropa University, Justin is on a continuous journey of learning. He is set to commence his Master of Divinity at Naropa in the fall of 2024 with aspirations of becoming an interdisciplinary chaplain, specialized in Psychedelic Assisted Therapy.

Justin ‘sat in the seat’ at Warrior Village in the spring of 2019. This experience had a profound impact, awakening a deep desire to serve others. His cohort experience combined with his participation in the post-cohort 500 Day plan led him to serving fellow veterans and first responders as a Program Facilitator and Rostering Coordinator.

While Justin chooses to focus on the future and the service he provides through his current role, his personal life is filled with love and adventure. Alongside his partner, Jess, and daughters, Keira and Leila, Justin is excited to embark on a new chapter in Boulder, Colorado. An avid lover of the outdoors, he looks forward to the hiking and camping adventures that await his family in the beautiful landscapes of Colorado.
