JAKE CLARK

PRESIDENT & FOUNDER

Ronald “Jake” Clark is a US Army Veteran of the Cold War era and the California Army National Guard during the Post 9/11 era. During a lengthy break in military service, Jake served with the U.S. Secret Service, the Los Angeles Police Department, and as a special agent for the Federal Bureau of Investigation.

ADAM CARR

DIRECTOR OF INNOVATION

Adam Carr is a U.S. Army Combat Veteran and Special Forces Green Beret with over 12 years of service. Adam spent his military career hunting Al Qaeda Operatives, developing intelligence networks, conducting diplomatic relations, and briefing Ambassadors and Generals on Geopolitical Environments. In 2006, Adam earned his B.A. in Security and Intelligence from The Ohio State University.

SUZETTE HELLER

DIRECTOR OF ENGAGEMENT

Suzette Heller hails from Detroit, Michigan and served Enlisted in the US Army from 1993 to 2005 between Active Duty Army and Michigan National Guard. Suzette received her undergraduate degree from University of Michigan majoring in Psychology & Women and Gender Studies with a minor in Political Science. She received a master’s degree from Trinity Law School with a concentration in Legal Studies of Nonprofit Law.

BRAD GALLUP

MASTER INTEGRATOR

Brad (Cohort 055) has dedicated the last 30 year of his life to being of service and helping people heal. His passion as a Transformative Coach is guiding folks to look toward their own wisdom to transform their lives. Brad combines his understanding of how the mind really works with his training as an Equine Guided Coach. By bringing horses into the conversations he can accelerate deep insights that propel powerful change.

ROSA TORRES

DIRECTOR, FEMALE PROGRAMMING

Rosa (Cohort 015) recently retired from the Los Angeles City Fire Department after 35 years of service. While in the position of Arson Investigator, Rosa served as both firefighter and armed law enforcement. During her last 11 years with the department, Rosa was assigned to a joint terrorism task force, where she trained with and worked under the Federal Bureau of Investigation as a federal marshal.

LARRY TURNER

ASST. DIRECTOR OF PROGRAMMING

Larry Turner (Cohort 058) served in the U.S. Army as an Armor Crewman in the 1/73rd Armor Battalion from 1985 to 1987. After returning home to Ohio, he served in the Columbus Division of Police until his retirement in 2016. Larry was greatly impacted by the loss of a good friend and fellow officer that he served with at the Columbus Division of Police.

JOE ROBB

DIRECTOR OF CULTURE

Joe Robb (Cohort 0109) served in the U.S. Army from 2002-2005 as an infantryman. During his 15 month combat deployment to Iraq from 2003-2004, Joe was afflicted with intense moral injury from witnessing the deaths of many civilians and children. After his medical discharge in 2005, Joe was unable to manage the emotions and memories of what happened during his deployment and found himself struggling with alcoholism, substance abuse, and persistent suicidal thoughts.

JUSTIN CARLISLE

PROGRAMMING FACILITATOR & ROSTERING COORDINATOR

Justin (Cohort 074) is a United States Marine Corps veteran, having served with the 3rd Battalion 8th Marine Infantry Regiment in deployments to Fallujah and Ramadi, Iraq. After his honorable discharge, Justin continued his service to others as a firefighter and paramedic for the city of Coshocton, Ohio.

MATTHEW STOMBAUGH

DIRECTOR OF DEVELOPMENT

Matthew, part of Save A Warrior’s Cohort 090, combines extensive military service with a deep commitment to community. Serving in the US Army and Army Reserve from 2001 to 2022, he was inspired by his family’s legacy of service – from his parents’ roles in nurturing and education to his grandparents’ farming and entrepreneurial ventures.

SUE TURNER

FACILITIES MANAGER

Sue (Cohort 080), also known as Mama Sue, worked in Operations for 10 years as a supervisor. She left her job to help her husband, Larry Turner, manage the Distillery they own in Warsaw, Ohio.

Her prayers were answered the day that Larry went into SAW and she is forever grateful for the healing that took place during his cohort.
