JAKE CLARK

PRESIDENT & FOUNDER

Ronald “Jake” Clark is a US Army Veteran of the Cold War era and the California Army National Guard during the Post 9/11 era. During a lengthy break in military service, Jake served with the U.S. Secret Service, the Los Angeles Police Department, and as a special agent for the Federal Bureau of Investigation.

MARK LEMA

DIRECTOR OF ALUMNI AFFAIRS

Mark (Cohort 042) is a retired Deputy Sheriff from the San Benito County Sheriffs Department. Mark served his county and the State of California from 1991-2005. While serving he was assigned to Patrol and other special assignments. Mark medically retired in December 2005 after multiple back operations.

ADAM CARR

MASTER INTEGRATOR

Adam (Cohort 035) has over 12 years of service in the U.S. Army. As a Special Forces Green Beret, Adam hunted Al Qaeda operatives, developed intelligence networks, conducted diplomatic relations, and briefed Ambassadors and Generals on Geopolitical environments. In 2006, Adam earned his B.A. in Security and Intelligence from The Ohio State University.

BRAD GALLUP

MASTER INTEGRATOR

Brad (Cohort 055) has dedicated the last 30 year of his life to being of service and helping people heal. His passion as a Transformative Coach is guiding folks to look toward their own wisdom to transform their lives. Brad combines his understanding of how the mind really works with his training as an Equine Guided Coach. By bringing horses into the conversations he can accelerate deep insights that propel powerful change.

ROSA TORRES

DIRECTOR, FEMALE PROGRAMMING

Rosa (Cohort 015) recently retired from the Los Angeles City Fire Department after 35 years of service. While in the position of Arson Investigator, Rosa served as both firefighter and armed law enforcement. During her last 11 years with the department, Rosa was assigned to a joint terrorism task force, where she trained with and worked under the Federal Bureau of Investigation as a federal marshal.

LARRY TURNER

ASST. DIRECTOR OF PROGRAMMING

Larry Turner (Cohort 058) served in the U.S. Army as an Armor Crewman in the 1/73rd Armor Battalion from 1985 to 1987. After returning home to Ohio, he served in the Columbus Division of Police until his retirement in 2016. Larry was greatly impacted by the loss of a good friend and fellow officer that he served with at the Columbus Division of Police.

JAKE WEHR

DIRECTOR OF PROGRAMMING

Jake (Cohort 032) has 3 years of service in the U.S. Army Infantry. In this time Jake deployed to Afghanistan in 2009 in support of Operation Enduring Freedom (Afghanistan). During that year-long deployment Jake was profoundly affected by the loss of friends/fellow soldiers. After returning to the U.S. in 2010 more losses in his unit came by way of suicide. Again, he was profoundly affected.

JOE ROBB

ROSTERING COORDINATOR

Joe Robb (Cohort 0109) served in the U.S. Army from 2002-2005 as an infantryman. During his 15 month combat deployment to Iraq from 2003-2004, Joe was afflicted with intense moral injury from witnessing the deaths of many civilians and children. After his medical discharge in 2005, Joe was unable to manage the emotions and memories of what happened during his deployment and found himself struggling with alcoholism, substance abuse, and persistent suicidal thoughts.

NICK MALO

DATA ANALYST & OPERATING SUPPORT COORDINATOR

Nick (cohort 0092) is a retired State Trooper from Ohio. His time in law enforcement spanned from 1999-2019 when he medically retired after a distinguished career. Nick had a very powerful and life-altering experience while at his cohort. Since leaving Warrior Village, Nick focused on his own recovery and rediscovered how to be of service to others as a shepherd and as an ambassador for Save A Warrior.

MATTHEW STOMBAUGH

DEVELOPMENT COORDINATOR

Matthew (Cohort 090) is a Veteran having served on Active Duty in the US Army and the Army Reserve from 2001-2021. Matthew’s sense of service over self came from his family’s devotion to service: a mother that is a nurse, a father that is a teacher, and grandparents that farmed, ran businesses, and served our country honorably during WWII and the Korean War.

SUE TURNER

FACILITIES MANAGER

Sue (Cohort 080), also known as Mama Sue, worked in Operations for 10 years as a supervisor. She left her job to help her husband, Larry Turner, manage the Distillery they own in Warsaw, Ohio.

Her prayers were answered the day that Larry went into SAW and she is forever grateful for the healing that took place during his cohort.
