Matthew, part of Save A Warrior’s Cohort 090, combines extensive military service with a deep commitment to community. Serving in the US Army and Army Reserve from 2001 to 2022, he was inspired by his family’s legacy of service – from his parents’ roles in nurturing and education to his grandparents’ farming and entrepreneurial ventures.

After his military career, Matthew transitioned to supporting non-profits as a grant consultant for eight years. In this role, he helped organizations across the US and abroad expand and thrive, applying his skills to continue making an impactful difference.

Now living in rural Northwest Ohio with his wife and four children, Matthew’s diverse experiences enrich the Save A Warrior community. He represents a blend of professional dedication and active community engagement, bringing valuable insights to our group.
